The path back into a work is often rocky and perilous journey and each experience is unique.  So, I help and support these women to prepare an actionable return-to-work plan that meets their individual physical and emotional needs and their aspirations, so they can return to their workplace feeling energised, confident and focused.

  • they want to reclaim their lost identity
  • they’re going through a sort of grieving process
  • it feels like life has thrown them an emotional curveball
  • they just want to feel like themselves again

Essentially, coaching helps these women to identify, challenge and overcome their roadblocks so they can navigate a clear, confident and successful passage back into their workplace.

The clients I work with have a range of challenges when they come to me, for example, feelings of guilt for leaving their children at home, as well as feeling guilty for looking forward to returning home!  It’s normal for them to suffer with mental and physical exhaustion, a lack of focus, self-doubt, anxious thoughts…the list goes on. They all have their own unique challenges.

Being a mum myself, and having suffered with postnatal depression when I returned to work full-time after my second child,  my husband developed anxiety. I know this space very well.  I’m a strong advocate for supporting mothers and fathers going back to work with whatever they need.  As a result, my work helps organisations like yours to recognise the actual and potential value of their people, improves staff retention, satisfaction and productivity rates, and reduces potential recruitment costs.

I also recognise the importance of developing the skills of senior managers, by helping them embrace and value the challenges of people management.  Find out more about my Supporting Managers Workshop as this helps in improving workplace diversity and inclusion within your organisation.

There are several different ways that I can work with your staff too…

One-off coaching session

Sometimes mums just need some immediate help, a little boost to get them back on the right track. or to help them focus, clear their thoughts and get moving again. At other times what we can do with is an objective mind to help them regain focus, clear their thoughts and give them the push they need to make the changes and the progress they want to make. If this is where you are right now, the ‘One-Off Coaching Session‘ is just what will help you on your way.

What they are saying about The Mum Almighty...

She helped me to redefine my priorities, my goals and in turn, I have taken bold leaps towards carving out a more fulfilling career and life for myself and my family.  It’s been invaluable to me.

Amy J

Coaching with Julie allowed me to get my mojo back and after each session with Julie, I felt stronger and more confident about leaving my son in the care of the nursery and my enthusiasm for my job and my team returned with bells on!

Stella D

Julie’s coaching sessions have been a real help to me during a time of major transition after having my three children and wanting to go back to work and feel like I have some purpose, other than being a mother.

Leanne C

The one-off coaching sessions with Julie helped me to overcome a ton of unanswered questions, thoughts and fears and the help and support from Julie has been amazing.  If you want to talk to someone who has lived through this same experience, is understanding, supportive, non-judgemental and refreshing to talk to then speak to Julie.

Sandra B

Julie’s one to one coaching sessions allowed me to open up about things I didn’t realise I had kept hidden from view and I tackled my challenges without zero judgement.  I felt like a huge weight was lifted.  If I had not done this, I probably would have chosen to leave my job due to my anxieties and stress.  I can see why Julie does what she does.
